Well, cover me in tar and then throw on the feathers. Sparked by my Kiss poster blog of yesterday, an "acquaintance" of mine sent me a link to this ebay listing for an uncut, original poster. Holy cow - do you know how much I would have paid for this at one time? Considering I once paid £150 in 1985 for the bootleg alternate version of Alive II, a fair amount probably. I'm actually quite stunned that such a thing as an uncut version of this still exists. It has a Buy It Now of $100 on its head. I don't know how 'original' it really is, but who cares!

I also found the blogsite of Michael Doret - the guy who painted the original cover of Rock n Roll Over. Nice guy with some cool stuff on the boil apart from said item and thoroughly deserving of a mention.

This blog is in danger of becoming a haven for Kiss analists. But before I walk away from the subject for at least a few days, maybe one more nostalgia trip would be OK. Here. Choke on this... they don't make 'em like they used to:
