While it was hardly his fault as the jacket designer, the Conan books could sometimes be really hard work - though ultimately satisfying if you had the time. They did look great on the shelf though... fuck, I miss Athena.

As an influence, he's in here somewhere. There's something satisfyingly primal about muscle-bound heroes wandering the globe wearing animal skins bringing justice to the world whether it's needed or not.
