JJ meanwhile is knee deep in pimping Liverpool Sound City. Early days yet (read as the site is a bit empty) but I've seen some of the bands announced for the bill and it's shaping up nicely to be one of the must go-to events of the Summer. (Is May in the Summer?)

I'm thinking that maybe I should pull some short strings and see if I can get Mr Johnson a slot somewhere - and being as Lynne (50ft Woman) is always looking for cool places to play and her entire band live north of Watford, maybe that's something I could pull the trigger on as well. Will ask. Maybe some badass karma will come bite me on the ass because of it (but that's not my reason for doing it!)

Oh yeah... saw Nick from The Clash in the shop this morning buying bread and eggs. I am so glad I don't live in L.A....
